Choosing the right level
IT Essentials is the starting point for remote helpdesk support, Microsoft 365 administration, device monitoring, operating-system patching, user setup and removal, and a monthly IT health summary. IT Secure adds the listed security management, Microsoft 365 backup and quarterly review. Fully Managed adds the published priority support, supplier coordination, new-device configuration, backup and recovery planning, and technology roadmap review.
These are starting packages, not a substitute for an agreed scope. The right level depends on the number of people and devices, the systems you use, the support coverage you need and which security or recovery responsibilities your organisation wants us to take on. We can identify work that belongs in a separate project rather than quietly treating it as part of monthly support.
What your proposal should make clear
- How many users and devices are covered, and which locations or systems are in scope.
- Support hours, request channels, response targets and escalation arrangements.
- Which security, backup and reporting tasks are included at the chosen tier.
- Any minimum monthly charge, onboarding work or separately quoted costs.
- Who owns licences, access approvals, third-party suppliers and changes after onboarding.
During onboarding we review your current setup and confirm what access and documentation are needed. Changes involving hardware, onsite work, migrations or larger projects are agreed separately. For the everyday support process, see Managed IT Support. If you are unsure where to start, the IT Health Check provides an initial review.
Support plan questions
Are the advertised prices per user?
Yes. The published figures are starting prices per user per month. A minimum monthly charge applies, and the final price depends on the agreed users, devices and requirements.
Are Microsoft 365 subscriptions included?
No. Microsoft licences are quoted separately from the monthly support plan.
Does every tier include Microsoft 365 backup?
No. Microsoft 365 backup is listed from IT Secure upwards. The systems covered, retention, recovery arrangements and any additional backup requirements should be confirmed in the proposal.
What does priority support mean in Fully Managed?
It is a feature of that tier, with the practical response and escalation arrangements defined in the agreed proposal. No universal response-time figure is stated on this page.
Can we add onsite or project work?
Yes, subject to scope and availability. Onsite visits and project work are quoted separately so that the monthly support price remains clear.
